Introduction

Once a graphic designer now a coder since 2013, I started coding spam emails (Yeah I know, how horrible!) but thankfully progressed to web pages. It didn't take long to become fascinated by javascript so I happily progressed to be a Front End Developer. Right now I'm working for a small Software company called Software13, where I have used vue.js, Angular, to build or amend web pages, web apps.

Key skills

CSS/SASS, JAVASCRIPT, JSX, VUE, ANGULAR, BOOTSTRAP, GIT, UX, RESPONSIVENESS, DOCKER, NPM/NODE, CREATING SPA’s
I’m not working on a project I’m always trying to improve, currently learning: ES6 JavaScript practices (ways to write less more efficient code), D3JS library, React, React native, GraphQL, Redux, Gatsby. I learn by building fun interesting apps, I’m currently building app games for my daughter using React.

Work experience

Front End Developer @ Software13 - Aticco Co-Working offices, Hospitalet, Barcelona.
Since January 2019 - Now

Using my html, css and javascript skills I build Single page applications, validate forms on the front end, style web pages, fix layout bugs, using Sass, Vue and Angular most of the time. Clients have included:

Example pages I worked on: conveyancingprices.co.uk | therestaurantzone.com (home and about page)
CRM/UX Developer @ Norwegian Airlines - El Prat, Barcelona
01/04/16 - 20/01/19

Initially I worked in CRM, coding email templates and creating scripts in Oracle Responsys to inject customer data into emails to personalise and target customers based on rules. Progressed to UX developer after a vacancy arose, I created A/B tests, changing web pages with Javascript (mostly jquery) and a ton of css.

Examples: Ticket types UI | A/B test presentation
Email / Front End Developer @ 15 Below Travel Software - Brighton, United Kingdom
17/11/14 – 01/03/16

Developing microsite webpages for clients like Virgin Australia and Ryanair – these sites are single page apps that took form submits and stored in various databases and triggered notifications. I have also assisted in the styling for the new 15below web app, which was released in 2015 and built with Angular 1.

Examples: Calculator | Ryanair tax return | Virgin Australia flight status
Wordpress Developer @ CrowCreation - Brighton, United Kingdom
01/06/14 - 05/11/14

Assisted in making Wordpress sites for small business and redesigning the roomspace.co.uk website. Learnt the basics of Wordpress development, including making bespoke Wordpress themes.

Examples: roomspace.co.uk (styled website, booking form api page)
Email/Front End Developer @ Printwell - London, United Kingdom
01/09/13 - 27/05/14

Created email campaigns every week for 5 different brands, including Herbalife, hand coded HTML tables to make bespoke email templates, sent out with Campaign Monitor. Redesigned and developed the website Printbubble, an online web to print website similar to Vistaprint. Used my graphic design skills (Adobe software) for promotional marketing i.e. calendars, wall charts, fliers..

Examples: printbubble (styled website, implentated booking process for prints)
